Can you help me to rearrange the following equations into the standard format y=mx+c?

can you help me to rearrange the following equations into the standard format y=mx+c

y+2x%26gt; or equal to 8 y+4x%26lt; or equal to 12

2a+3b%26gt; or equal to 4 5a+2b%26lt; or equal to 7

5c+5d%26lt; or equal to 30 c%26gt; or equal to 4

9a+10d%26lt; or equal to180 a%26gt;12 d%26lt; or equal to 5

Can you help me to rearrange the following equations into the standard format y=mx+c?
y+2x%26gt;=8 -%26gt; y%26gt;=-2x+8

y+4x%26lt;=12 -%26gt; y%26lt;=-4x+12

2a+3b%26gt;=4 -%26gt; 3b%26gt;=-2a+4 -%26gt; b%26gt;= -2a/3 + 4/3

etc...

Just consider the inequations as equations.

Pass a term the other side and change the sign.

Reverse the equation and reverse the inequal sign:

a%26gt;b -%26gt; b%26lt;a.

Basic rules of equations apply.
Reply:You can't make equalities from inequalities.

All of there are in a standard form.

"Slope -intercept" form for the 1st one is y ≥ -2x + 8, since y is by convention the dependent variable. For the inequalities using other than x and y, you will have to decide which is the dependent variable and which is the independent variable.
Reply:no idea i was alway rubbish at maths
Reply:for ex: 3y+2x=5

3y =-2x+5

y = -2/3x +5/3
