How do I write 2c^2-c^2+5c as a standard polynomial?

Combine the c^2 terms, i.e., 2c^2 - c^2 = (2-1)c^2 = c^2. That gives c^2 + 5c (or if you want to highlight the constant term, c^2 + 5c + 0).
